It's been nearly a thousand yesrs -- well more like 18 - since I have seen you and Bruce, back when that now-nearly-grown-up daughter of yours was just a little infant in Colorado! Hope all's well with all four of you up there in AK. All's well here -- Jonathan and I are just endlessly fascinated by 17-month old Sylvia's observations and comments about the world. At this stage, she's using lots of the signs that we've taught her, and all the time her speech is getting more elaborate (and lately, a little Klingon-like, honestly). She's gotten very interested in giving teddy bears hugs, and feeding them imaginary blueberries off the pages of story books, and having them gurgle tall glasses of imaginary water. What fun!
